Exascale Simulation of Plasma-Controlled Combustion

The Center for Exascale Simulation of Plasma-Coupled Combustion (XPACC) will be working to develop a new mode of managing combustion and aims to make breakthroughs in this emerging field at the basic science level. It will be funded for five years by a $16 million grant from the National Nuclear Security Administration, part of the U.S. Department of Energy.

XPACC is currently hiring students, postdocs and research scientists in all technical areas within the center. Visit Work with Us for more information.
