GigaScale Systems Research Center (GSRC)

The GSRC brings together the best minds in US academia (41 faculty from 17 institutions), in a collaborative and forward-looking setting, to address challenges facing electronic systems design in the late- and post-silicon age. The GSRC Concurrent Theme is led by Wen-mei Hwu of the Illinois Coordinated Science Lab, Universal Parallel Computing Research Center, and the department of electrical and computer engineering.
